No. Services are provided exclusively to patients physically located in New York State at the time of their appointment.
Treatment may include supportive therapy and psychoeducation. However, the primary focus of care is psychiatric evaluation and medication management. If ongoing psychotherapy is needed, referrals may be provided.
Appointments are conducted through a secure, HIPAA‑compliant video platform. Patients must be physically located in New York State during the visit and confirm their location at the start of each session.
For patients under 18 years of age:
A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent prior to treatment.
A parent or legal guardian must be present at the beginning of each visit.
Guardians may be required to participate in sessions when clinically appropriate.
In cases of shared custody, documentation of medical decision‑making authority may be required before treatment begins.
ADHD evaluations are comprehensive and individualized. When clinically appropriate, medications — including stimulant medications — may be prescribed in accordance with New York State and federal regulations.
Prescribing decisions are based on a full psychiatric assessment and ongoing monitoring.
Medication decisions are made after appropriate clinical evaluation. Same‑day prescribing is not guaranteed and depends on diagnostic clarity, safety considerations, and regulatory requirements.
No. This practice does not provide emergency or crisis care.
If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee. Missed appointments without notice may incur a no‑show fee.
Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 60–90 minutes, depending on complexity.
Follow‑up medication management appointments are generally shorter.
Yes. All services are provided through secure, HIPAA‑compliant technology. Sessions are not recorded. Patients may not record sessions without prior written consent.
